These Terms & Conditions govern the use of www.raniazara.co.uk and all purchases made from Rania Zara Studio (“Rania Zara Studio”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing our website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
Rania Zara Studio is a UK-based luxury South Asian fashion retailer and curator offering Ready-to-Ship, Pre-Order, Made-to-Order, Formal Wear, Bridal Wear and Designer Collections.
We work with independent designers, manufacturers and production partners located both within and outside the United Kingdom.
2. Order Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance, availability and payment verification.
An order shall not be deemed accepted until:
• Payment has been successfully received and verified;
• The order has been reviewed by our team;
• Production, sourcing, reservation, procurement or designer placement has commenced.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or suspend any order where:
• Fraud is suspected;
• Payment cannot be verified;
• Pricing errors occur;
• Stock availability changes;
• Abusive conduct is displayed;
• The order presents an operational, legal or security risk.
3. Made-to-Order, Pre-Order, Custom Size & Bridal Orders
The majority of products offered by Rania Zara Studio are produced, sourced, reserved or commissioned specifically against a customer’s selected size, measurements, colour choice, design selection or order request.
These include but are not limited to:
• Bridal Wear;
• Made-to-Order Items;
• Pre-Order Items;
• Custom-Sized Items;
• Personalised Items;
• Designer Wear produced or sourced against a customer’s selected size;
• Specially Sourced Items;
• Any item for which production, sourcing, reservation, allocation or procurement has commenced following order placement.
For the avoidance of doubt, where a customer selects a standard size (XS, S, M, L, XL or otherwise), the item may still be classified as a made-to-order or specially sourced item where production, procurement, sourcing, reservation or designer allocation only occurs after the order has been placed for that specific size.
Once production, sourcing, procurement, reservation, designer placement or allocation has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled, withdrawn, refunded or exchanged except where required by applicable law.
Customers acknowledge that such products are manufactured, sourced, reserved or procured specifically for them and may therefore be exempt from statutory cooling-off, withdrawal, cancellation and return rights.
4. Ready-to-Ship Items
Ready-to-Ship items are products physically held in stock and available for immediate dispatch.
Any return or exchange request must comply with our Returns Policy.
Returned items must be:
• Unworn;
• Unwashed;
• Unaltered;
• Free from perfume, makeup, deodorant or damage;
• Returned with all original tags and packaging.
We reserve the right to reject returns that fail inspection.
5. EU Consumer Withdrawal Rights
Where applicable under European consumer legislation, customers purchasing eligible non-exempt products may exercise their legal right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving their order.
Withdrawal rights do not apply to products which:
• Are made to the customer’s specifications;
• Are clearly personalised;
• Have been custom-sized;
• Have been specially sourced, reserved, allocated or procured for the customer;
• Have entered production following order placement;
• Fall within any other statutory exemption under applicable consumer legislation.
Customers wishing to submit a withdrawal request must provide:
• Order number;
• Full name;
• Email address used for the order;
• Details of the item(s) concerned.
Submission of a withdrawal request does not automatically create entitlement to a refund where a statutory exemption applies.
Where a withdrawal request is legally valid, refunds shall be processed in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
6. Delivery Estimates
All delivery dates are estimates only.
Typical lead times include:
• Ready-to-Ship: 2–5 working days (UK)
• Pret Collections: 4–8 weeks
• Formal Wear: 8–12 weeks
• Bridal Wear: 4–6 months
Production schedules, customs delays, courier delays, import procedures, weather conditions, public holidays, designer delays, political events and circumstances beyond our control may affect delivery times.
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
7. Designer & Third-Party Production Partners
Rania Zara Studio acts as a retailer, curator and distributor of products manufactured by independent designers and production partners.
Production is undertaken by third-party designers and manufacturers.
Whilst we make every effort to monitor progress and communicate updates, we shall not be liable for delays, manufacturing changes, supplier issues, customs delays or production interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
8. Customer Approval Before Dispatch
Where available, customers may receive photographs, videos or quality-control images prior to dispatch.
Customers are expected to review and respond within 24 hours.
If no response is received within 24 hours, we reserve the right to proceed with shipment.
Failure to respond within the allotted period shall constitute acceptance of the product for dispatch.
9. Measurements & Sizing
Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate measurements and selecting the appropriate size.
Rania Zara Studio accepts no responsibility for:
• Incorrect measurements supplied by customers;
• Incorrect sizing selections;
• Weight fluctuations;
• Body shape changes after ordering.
Minor tailoring adjustments may be required following delivery.
10. Product Variations
Due to screen settings, photography, lighting conditions, hand embroidery techniques, fabric dye lots and artisan craftsmanship:
• Colours may vary slightly;
• Embellishment placement may vary;
• Fabric textures may vary;
• Handwork may vary slightly from photographs.
Such variations are not defects and shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund or chargeback.
11. Payment Terms
Full payment is required before production, sourcing, reservation or dispatch.
Products shall not be released until funds have been received, credited and verified.
For international bank transfers, funds must be fully credited and confirmed by our bank before goods can be released.
Screenshots, payment confirmations or transfer receipts do not constitute cleared funds.
12. Refunds
Refunds shall only be provided where required by law or where expressly approved by Rania Zara Studio.
Where a refund is approved outside of statutory consumer rights or provided as a gesture of goodwill, we reserve the right to deduct:
• Payment processing fees;
• Banking charges;
• Currency conversion losses;
• International transfer fees;
• Third-party transaction fees;
• Shipping costs;
• Customs duties;
• Import taxes;
• Return shipping costs;
• Any non-recoverable costs incurred by Rania Zara Studio.
Shipping charges are refundable only where legally required or where an error has been made by Rania Zara Studio.
A customer’s change of mind shall not automatically entitle them to reimbursement of shipping costs, transaction fees or third-party charges.
13. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact Rania Zara Studio and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve any issue before initiating:
• A chargeback;
• A bank reversal;
• A card dispute;
• A payment provider claim.
Where a customer receives goods and subsequently initiates a chargeback without lawful basis, Rania Zara Studio reserves the right to:
• Contest the dispute;
• Recover losses;
• Recover legal costs where permitted;
• Suspend future purchases;
• Share evidence with payment providers, banks and legal representatives.
14. Abusive, Threatening & Defamatory Conduct
Rania Zara Studio maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards:
• Harassment;
• Bullying;
• Threatening behaviour;
• Abusive language;
• Defamatory statements;
• False allegations;
• Discriminatory conduct;
• Excessive or unreasonable communications.
We reserve the right to:
• Refuse service;
• Terminate communications;
• Cancel future transactions;
• Refer matters to legal advisers;
• Report unlawful conduct to relevant authorities.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rania Zara Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or special losses including but not limited to:
• Loss of opportunity;
• Loss of profits;
• Loss of business;
• Emotional distress;
• Event disruption;
• Wedding-related losses;
• Travel costs;
• Hotel costs;
• Photographer costs;
• Makeup artist costs;
• Stylist costs;
• Third-party expenses.
In any event, our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant order.
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability which cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
16. Intellectual Property
All content appearing on this website including:
• Photographs;
• Videos;
• Logos;
• Graphics;
• Product descriptions;
• Marketing materials;
• Branding;
• Website content;
remains the intellectual property of Rania Zara Studio or its licensors.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or used without prior written permission.
17. Force Majeure
Rania Zara Studio shall not be liable for delays or failures resulting from events beyond our reasonable control including:
• Natural disasters;
• Severe weather;
• Pandemics;
• Strikes;
• Government restrictions;
• Customs delays;
• Political unrest;
• Supply chain interruptions;
• Transportation disruptions;
• Utility failures.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
